I love beach and every time I passing by beaches, I normally I will stop for a while to enjoy the view. Sometimes, I will stay longer and spend overnight if the beach is fascinating.

South Florida is having one of the amazing beaches on my lists. South Beach, also nicknamed SoBe, is a neighbourhood in the city of Miami Beach, Florida, United States.

I was planning for a trip with my family to stay at Fort Lauderdale beach hotel. We want to enjoy the beaches there and I try forget headache of my hectic life . Besides the nice recreation at the beaches, South Florida has major entertainment destination with hundreds of nightclubs, restaurants, boutiques and hotels.

I will let my wife enjoy any kind of joy and pleasure she wanted while we are at the Fort Lauderdale beach hotel. I will make sure this family vacation will be one of the best in our records.

Faces of 1Malaysia Festival in Washington DC

Tourism Malaysia is showcasing its tourism attractions and cultural attributes that represent the spirit of 1Malaysia in the "Faces of 1Malaysia Festival in Washington DC this weekend. The event, organised by the Information Communication and Culture Ministry to promote Malaysia's unique culture and arts , coincides with the visit of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak to Washington DC to attend the nuclear security summit on Monday.

Najib's wife, Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor will inaugurate the event at the Washington DC premises of the National Geographic Society.

Salahuddin Mohd Ariffin, vice-president of Tourism Malaysia's New York office, told Bernama that an elaborate cultural programme was being offered in conjunction with the presentation.

Craft products from Malaysia would be on sale and demonstrations on handicraft making, promotional offers on travel and tour packages and promotion of Malaysian cuisine would be held besides multi-ethnic music and cultural performances and a textile showcase.

Information Communication and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Dr Rais Yatim would also be present.

Besides officials of Tourism Malaysia, representatives from Malaysia Airlines, Melaka State Economic Planning Unit, Fraser's Hill Development Corporation in Pahang, Sabah Tourism Board, Johor Tourism Department, Sarawak Tourism and Negri Sembilan Economic Planning Unit would be available to answer questions from the public.

Salahuddin said the highlight of the event was the Malaysia Gala Night to be held on April 13 at the Mandarin Oriental where Najib would be the chief guest.
