Rumah Penghulu Abdul Ghani was built in 1894 and located about 5km from the town of Merlimau, Melaka. Being the house of the village head, it is remarkably different from other houses in the area.

The house is architecturally resplendent and signature to Melaka's 19th century artistic style. Its intricate wood carving forms the unique facade as well as the interior section of the house reflects a beautiful integration of Malay, Chinese and western culture in its design, embellishments and decorations.

Rumah Penghulu Mad Natar is less than 3 km from where I live. The architecture and colorful appearance makes people really admire the house. Sometimes I can see tourists stopping by to capture some photos.

The other day I blogged about my tea time at warung next to Tun Teja Tomb. Then I promised to upload the photos of the tomb compound. But I was so busy and forgot about the promise.

Since I live nearby, the place is already common for me. I always stopped here once in a while to enjoy the food with lovely view of greenery sawah padi.

So enjoy the pics of my boy with relatives.

Makam Tun Teja next to sawah field at Kampung Pengkalan Samak

I was fine day today, sunny and bright with no sign of raining. We just come back from Merlimau post office and suddenly I had better idea in my mind. I told my wife that it would be better if we stop by at the warung next to the Tun Teja's Tomb for ABC and cendol.

I like the area as it is surrounded by paddy field. This time I was lucky as I can see matured paddy just before harvesting. It's all filled with fat grain of rice. If you be here at the Makam Tun Teja, you'll see the 'sawah padi' scenery surrounded the area.

I forgot to snap the photo of the tomb but if you get here, you'll see a gigantic grave with a well next to it. The area and the paddy field just separated by 1 meter height fences. To get to the tomb, you have to walk approximately 100 meters from the road side.

Anyway, I enjoy the day with juicy cendol and snacks. My wife having ABC with meehoon soto, while Ahmad Iqbal really amazed with the stream and fish inside it. Perhaps I will show the pics of Makam Tun Teja next time.

It was a long trip for short journey

I'm supposed to be in Puchong Jaya by 3.30pm on last Friday. Unfortunately, I'm not feeling well that day, forced me to sleep the whole day since morning. I sacrifice my self to get up from bed at 2.00pm and drive to Puchong from Melaka. I try to keep the promise with the lawyer and I wish I can make everybody happy.

After signing all documents and required forms, I pick up Adam and we spent some moment at IOI Mall Puchong and had dinner. Adam Harith chose A&W for the location and he bought 2 kids meal. He is getting fatter now, makes me worried about his eating habit. After a while, I decided to stay overnight at PD. It was 10pm by the time we arrived at Bayu Beach Resort, Port Dickson.

I was so tired but still I turn on the laptop and try to check any updates on emails and job available for posting on blog. Seriously the mobile internet connection is killing me. Not sure it is because of the location or because we are staying on the 5th floor. I gave up for internet and start installing games that Adam Harith just bought previously at IOI Mall.

Hmm, not bad, I was playing with him until we discovered it was 4 o'clock in the morning. Oh no, I wasn't alert about the time. Seriously we got to sleep for the journey on the next day.

We woke up and rushing for breakfast before they close the section. Thank God for the nice toast and nasi lemak plus juicy fresh orange and cup of coffee. After breakfast, Adam swimming in the pool. When done, we left Port Dickson and heading to Shah Alam.

After Shah Alam, we left for Melaka, enjoy the movie - Shrek 4 (3D) the final chapter. We watched the movie at GSC Padang Pahlawan Mall. Enjoy it really much, made me laugh and cheer up my soul for a while.

After the long trip, we move to Muar, my house but on the way there, I had to stop at Merlimau to pick up some stuffs of mine. Really tiring by that time. Finally we made it at 1.00am after the long trip. Damn, this is sound boring but I don't have the guts to blend the story.
