Before we go traveling by car, make sure the car has gone through for regular service. Provide to-do list notes and double check before you left. The most important part, get car insurance for the car and the passenger as well.
Normally when we are on rush and packing stuffs before traveling, we have limited time to get everything ready. The safe step, you can get the car insurance quotation online. Besides, you can compare and decide which company offer cheap auto insurance.
Definitely cheap insurance quotes needed because you have to provide some money during the long journey. By getting cheap insurance quotes online, you already save a lot and can spare them for any emergency case.
Me and my wife stop by at Saujana Beach, Port Dickson last Wednesday, on our way back from Kuala Lumpur. I found the Saujana Beach signage and snap this photo. It says,
"Saujana Beach
Previously known as 4th Mile Beach. It's name was changed to Saujana Beach in 2001 when beaches in Port Dickson were renamed. Having the distance of 0.6 km in length, stretching from Avillion to Klana Lodge.
The name of Saujana Beach is given based on it's location that is near to Saujana Hill, which has it's own unique history.
In 1800 during the British administration, there was a colonial bungalow known as Saujana Bungalow. With itsbeutiful colonial architecture, it stands majestically on top of a hill commanding a panoramic view of the surrounding areas. Standing on the site of this bungalow today is the TNB Clubhouse."

Every time I have a chance, I always try to make my self available having break at any Port Dickson's beaches. This is because I used to live here during my childhood, until 8. Then my father retired from the army forces - bring us all back to our hometown. I got my d=sentimental value here.
Sometimes, I stay there for couple days if I can find any hotels available. This is because I never have any proper plan every time I been there. Just last minute reservation but it is really difficult to find accommodation during weekend and school holidays. Even Port Dickson Hotels can be found all along the beaches and spread all over the places, but during peak season, most of the resort, hotel, chalet and home stay are fully booked. This is because Port Dickson are really famous in Malaysia for its beauty, attract local and foreign travelers interest. Besides, Port Dickson location is not far from Kuala Lumpur. It takes about one and half hour drive.
There are so many hotel available in Port Dickson. From budget hotel, to 5 star hotel. Avillion hotel, Desa Lagoon Resort Port Dickson, Desa Lagoon Resort and Bayu Beach Resort are among top rated hotels in Port Dickson. I still didn't try the coziness of those accommodation in Port Dickson. Perhaps will have my chance during this coming school holidays on November.
Malaysian are having long holidays start from today because tomorrow is Eid Mubarak (Hari Raya Aidilfitri), which some of the offices stretched up to Wednesday. Police records shows that crime index for house breaking, robbery and snatch theft increases during festive seasons. As to avoid such incidences from happening, please take these security/safety precautions.
Take additional security precautions particularly when you are withdrawing cash at the tellers/banks.
Bring along friends to accompany you.
Walk against the traffic flow.
If you are celebrating Hari Raya or spending the long holidays at your hometown, please let your neighbor know and leave them your contact number in case of any emergency.
Register your home address by filling up the forms provided at the nearest Police Station. By doing, so the police will be able to perform regular patrols at your residential area.
Inform your newspaperman not to send newspaper to your house while you are away. By seeing the stuffed newspapers at your house gate or on the floors, criminals will easily be able to target your house.
While driving back to your village or coming back, don’t forget “Ops Sikap” that the Traffic Police will be launching from
13 Sept till 29 Sept 2009. Traffic offenders caught or detected committing any of the 5 serious traffic offences during that period will be served with a mandatory RM 300 compound.

Plan your journey properly and follow the traffic schedule and information provided by PLUS and Traffic Police to avoid being caught in the traffic jams. Drive safely, think of your love ones and don’t be part of the police statistics.
