Sounds like a nice place in heaven huh? or never heard of it before? The Eden Project is a gigantic dome designed by architect Nicholas Grimshaw, located at Cornwall, England. 2 giant transparent dome made of ETFE cushions, each emulating a natural biome, that house plant species from around the world. The first emulates a tropical environment, the other a warm temperate, mediterranean environment. Still remember when they filming James Bond with those dome located at the North Arctic!
I feel like home when we been there. Seriously, the 'jungle' exactly looks similar- the smell, the temperature, the feel and even they built a small bamboo house! Only no mosquito at all, that's only make the different. The Eden Project is a genius creation. I can't imagine how they successfully created tropical environment within a dome in 4 season country.
No regret for me being here, even it is miles away from Portsmouth. Luckily we already had bookings for caravan cabin at the Lands End. So we don't have to rush back home. We spent nearly 5 hours inside the dome, walking around, smell the air, listen to waterfalls sound. 'Rumah Malaysia (Sabah)' really make us smiling with all decoration, arrangement, basikal tua, and many more old stuffs around the house.
